Children's Programs at Kid's Quest

We provide ski resort families quality child care for children 3 months to 5 years of age, Thursday through Monday 8:30-3:45 throughout the season. However, child care will be available seven days a week during the three main holiday weeks; 12/24-1/6 and 2/16-2/23. (See age group information below for ski/snowboard lesson availability and pricing). Below, you will find all of our programs.

While attending our program your children are in good hands with our caring teachers. All of our teachers are trained in first aid, CPR and child development. Our child-to-teacher ratio assures full attention and the best possible care. Please note that schedules and programs are subject to change, so please contact Kid's Quest to verify any activities and schedules you may be interested in.

Tamaracks (3 Months to 3 Years)

These little ones have fun indoors enjoying music, floor time, climbing, arts and crafts with an optional outdoor ski component. We offer ski and snowboard lessons twice daily for our two and three year olds Thursday through Monday (during holiday weeks we are open 7 days a week - 12/24-1/6 and 2/16-2/23). Our goal is to introduce your child to the sports of skiing and snowboarding in a safe and enthusiastic way.

Woodlands (3 Years Through 5 Years)

We offer child care Thursday - Monday (during holiday weeks, childcare is available 7 days a week - 12/24-1/6 and 2/16-2/23) and ski or snowboard lessons twice daily for our four and five year olds Monday, Thursday and Friday throughout the season except during the three holiday weeks; 12/24-1/6 and 2/16-2/23. (For weekend and holiday ski lessons contact the PICO Mini Star Program). The goal for lessons is to enhance skills such as side stepping, gliding, balanced turns and stopping. To supplement the ski experience this classroom offers dramatic play, singing, arts and crafts and manipulatives.

Steps for Registration

• 1. Call Kid's Quest at (802) 775-5100 or complete and submit online registration forms and send to kidsquest@comcast.net.
• 2. You will receive a phone call confirming space availability. Payment will be expected at this time. Acceptable forms of payment are Visa and MasterCard.
• 3. Review what to bring so that your child enjoys their stay with us!

VAC Kid's Quest Summer Programs

Our summer adventure camp is a five day a week program for school aged youth. This is a high energy, activity based program where youth participate in multi-aged groups with emphasis on social interaction and physical activity. The children enrolled have choices daily including water sports, miniature golf, the alpine slide, hiking, rock climbing and arts and crafts. Lunch and healthy snacks are served. The program is led by professional outdoor educators and Vermont state child care subsidies are accepted. Reservations are on a first come first serve basis.

Summer Adventure Program

The Kid’s Quest Summer Adventure Program is a 5 day a week high energy, activity based program where youth participants, in groups’ ages 9 -12 and ages 12 -15, have the opportunity to experience the exciting world of outdoor adventure in a structured and supportive environment. Daily activities include water sports, hiking, rock climbing, mountain biking, the alpine slide, miniature golf, ropes courses and more!  Based at Pico Ski Resort and led by professional outdoor educators, we will make the most of the beautiful surrounding mountains, trails, rivers and lakes. The program is available Monday - Friday from 8:30 am - 4:00 pm.

Kid’s Quest Camp (age 4 -  8 years of age)

Kid’s Quest camp is a fun filled summer day camp for children ages 4 - 8 years of age.  Each day will be full of opportunities for outdoor activities, sports, arts and crafts, miniature golf, swimming, games and adventure.  The program is available Monday – Friday from 8:30 am – 4:00 pm.  Come stop by for a visit and join in on the fun!
